Booking confirmations and changes

Auto-confirm new bookings and decide who approves cancellations.

Two settings control how Catchdesk handles bookings on its own. Confirmations text customers as soon as a booking is made. Booking changes decides whether Catchdesk can apply a verified cancellation or reschedule automatically, or whether it should wait for your approval.

    Open Automations settings

    In the web dashboard, go to Settings, then Automations.

    Turn on Booking confirmations

    Set confirmations to Automatic so every new booking gets a confirmation text right away.

    Choose your Booking changes policy

    Automatic applies a verified cancellation or reschedule for you. Manual sends it to Next action so you approve it first.

Notes

  • Verified means the caller confirmed who they are before Catchdesk made the change.
  • If you want a human eye on every cancellation, keep Booking changes on Manual.
